About Garwin Murray

To encapsulate, Garwin Murray carries over 20 years of corporate & entrepreneurial experience. Having worked in global and regional companies mostly in managerial positions for over 11 years, Garwin decided to take the entrepreneurial journey in 2011. Since then, he has built Detroves Travels leisure consortium that deals with 05 destinations and 06 brands. Parallelly, he built Garwin Murray training, which specializes in Strategic Communication, coaching thousands in Social Communication. Business Communication, Online Communication and Brand Communication.

 

Garwin holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales and is a certified Train the Trainer from City & Guilds UK. Additionally, he has been a Toastmaster since 2007, partaking in numerous competitive speech competitions.

 

During his corporate career, he was exposed to dealing with a plethora of local, regional and international clients and suppliers. As an entrepreneur, building from the ground up needed daft skills convincing clients and negotiating groundbreaking deals with suppliers. Additionally, as competitive speaker in Toastmasters, he had to learn all the techniques of public speaking. In all these cases, he understood how important communication was in making or breaking a deal, relationship or winning a competition. Therefore, he immersed himself in thousands of pages of literature in communication whilst observing or interacting with the best in the business and conducting many social experiments. Therefore, in the last 15 years, Garwin has invested thousands of hours learning and teaching the art of Strategic Communication and it has been the driving force in his success.

 

With technology taking over the World, the ability for people to interact one on one socially has become harder than ever before. More or less a dying skill. Therefore, Garwin decided to share his knowledge with the world and help as many people as he can. Through Garwin Murray training consortium, we have managed to change many lives.
